LeakGuard is operated by Forge Stride Agency. For the personal data we process about you in connection with the service, Forge Stride Agency acts as the data controller.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
• Audit content: the text you paste in for analysis (statements, receipts, lists).
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, basic telemetry.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers.
• Support data: messages you send us.

3. Why we use it

• To create and manage your account (legal basis: contract).
• To provide audits and analyze the text you submit (contract).
• To prevent fraud and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
• To improve LeakGuard (legitimate interests).
• To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
• To send transactional emails — and, with your consent, occasional product updates.

4. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and AI inference providers, used solely to operate the service.
• Paddle (Merchant of Record): when you purchase a subscription, Paddle handles payment, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
• Professional advisers: legal and accounting, where necessary.
• Authorities: where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Audit content is retained until you delete it or close your account. Backups and operational logs are retained for a limited period, then deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, rectification of, or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or request portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us via your account settings; we aim to respond within one month.
